The Buffalo & Erie County Library will present Haunted History Tours at 4 p.m. today and 11 a.m. Saturday at the Central Library, Lafayette Square. • Friends of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and the Buffalo Chamber Music Society will be awarding three Young Musicians Scholarships and up to three Silverman String Scholarships to high school seniors in Erie and Niagara counties who plan to major in music in the fall of 2014. The Alden Christian Theatre Society, 1470 Church St., Alden, will hold auditions for its upcoming production of “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and next Thursday. Womanfocus will present a day of food and fun at its Mother Daughter Escape 2013 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 26 at St. John’s-Grace Episcopal Church, 51 Colonial Circle. Cost is $10 per person, which includes all activities and meals. Participants will visit the Albright-Knox Art Gallery and take part in activities that promote culture in Buffalo as well as the bond between mothers and daughters.
