Jaeckle Fleischmann & Mugel partner Charles D. Grieco was named chairman of the program committee for the 2014 Congress for the New Urbanism Conference, June 4 to 7 in Buffalo. The Congress for the New Urbanism is the promotes walkable, mixed-use neighborhood development, sustainable communities and healthier living conditions.


Mount St. Mary’s Hospital and Health Center appointed Christopher H. Brown, a CPA at Brown & Company, and Anthony L. Eugeni, senior partner at Damon Morey, to its board of trustees for three-year terms. Other trustees are: Dena Armstrong, Sevenson Environmental Services; William J. Bradberry; Dr. Lloyd W. The Buffalo Seminary Alumnae Association named Gabrielle P. DeRose president of its 2013-14 board of directors. DeRose is vice president of communications with the Magellan Group. Other officers: vice president, Mary E.B. Oshei, Shea’s Performing Arts Center; treasurer, Mary Ross Rice; recording secretary, Nadine Matala-Kowalski; and corresponding secretary, Rebecca Fleming Karwas, Catholic Charities. Also, the association named Lindsay Brownschidle, with Clinton Brown Company Architecture, and Sarah A. Cercone, Ph.D student at the University at Buffalo, to its 2013-14 board of directors.
