Choral groups will raise their voices to help the homeless in “Singing for a Promise,” a benefit musical program from 3 to 6 p.m. Oct. 27 in the Unitarian Universalist Church of Buffalo, 695 Elmwood Ave. at West Ferry Street.

Performing will be the Unitarian Universalist Choir, the Friends of Harmony and the Sweet Sixteens and Varsity Singers from Amherst Central High School.

Admission is $15 and includes a wine, beverage a snack reception.

Proceeds will assist Family Promise of WNY, which gives accommodations and guidance to homeless families.
