Clarence United Methodist Church will hold its 29th annual Apple Festival, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in the church’s Family Life Center, 10205 Greiner Road.
Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and a Chiavetta’s chicken barbecue will be available from noon to 4 p.m.
The event will also feature “Mission Market,” with nonprofit groups selling gift items to support community efforts.
Homemade apple pies will be available for $12 and can be ordered for immediate or day-of-festival pickup by visiting the church office.

• The Clarence IDA will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Town Hall, One Town Place.
• The Clarence Chamber is hosting its third annual “Women in Business Conference” Wednesday, starting at 9 a.m. in Samuel’s Grand Manor. This year’s theme is “Communication Tips for Women in Business.
• The Planning Board will meet for a work session at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, followed by a regular meeting at 7 p.m. in Town Hall.
• The Town Board is holding a special meeting to review the 2014 budget from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday.
