People should not tolerate such nonsense in Congress

This is the oath of office that members of Congress swear to: “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.”

In my mind, all members of Congress have violated their oath by not “well and faithfully discharging their duties” to the United States of America. One could also conclude that they have become “domestic enemies” as stated in the oath. I suggest that by violating their oath, they should be immediately removed from office and punished by law for failing to perform their duties and putting into serious jeopardy our Constitution and the future of the people of the United States. Their ruinous actions are destroying what has taken more than 200 years to build.

How much longer will we the people put up with this nonsense? Maybe we should all take to the streets in protest and demand that the collective body of these inept politicians go to work, do what they have been elected and are paid to do, and execute the duties of their office by providing America with good government.
