LECTURE: Kieran Murphy, principal historic researcher for Taliesin Preservation, will give a lecture on “Taliesin’s Loggia Terrace: Experimentation and Preservation” at 7 p.m. today in Burchfield Penney Art Center, 1300 Elmwood Ave. It is the final lecture in the Graycliff Conservancy’s lecture series titled Opening the Envelope: Porches, Porticos and Terraces.

CREMATION SEMINAR: Mount Calvary Cemetery and the Catholic Cemeteries will present a seminar titled “Straight Answers to Cremation Questions” from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today at the Pine Lawn Chapel, 2951 Harlem Road, Cheektowaga. The seminar will cover questions concerning cremation from the process itself to the legalities involved, the Catholic views on cremation, the cost and the burial options following cremation.
