Several motorists have contacted Buffalo police after their vehicles were struck by rocks apparently thrown from the railroad overpass on Fillmore Avenue at Northland Avenue.

The incidents happened late afternoon and evening on Friday and Saturday.

Drivers reported that their windshields were either damaged or shattered by the rocks. Officers found a number of rocks on the pavement near the viaduct and one victim reported seeing at least three juveniles, including one girl, throwing the rocks. He said they ran south on Fillmore toward East Ferry Street.
