Company Connections

HomeGoods, a national major off-price store dedicated to home fashions, will open stores in Orchard Park and Amherst at 8 a.m. Oct. 20. The Orchard Park store is located in Quaker Crossing at Milestrip Road and Amelia Drive. The Amherst store is located in the Lowe’s Plaza at Transit Road and Maple Road. The two stores are expected to fill about 60 full- and part-time positions each.


Universal Stainless & Alloy Products achieved both Nadcap and ISO 17025 lab testing certifications at its Dunkirk specialty steel facility. Nadcap, short for National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program, is a worldwide cooperative accreditation program of major companies and their suppliers.


The Martin Group and client Ciminelli Real Estate Corp. were recently awarded Best in Class, General Purpose, in the Literature and Promotions category for the Conventus Brochure at the 57th annual Northeastern Economic Developers Association Conference in Portland, Maine. The 16-page high-end brochure is intended to increase awareness and market Conventus to prospective tenants. Conventus is a $100 million building with 287,000 square feet of space under construction at the northern gateway of the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus.
