A building on Seneca Street in West Seneca went up in flames Saturday evening.

Firefighters from Seneca Hose Fire Company were summoned at 7:37 p.m. to 3030 Seneca St. near Center Road, fire officials said. The small building is a former gas station that has been converted into office space, officials said.

Damage estimates were not immediately available and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

Winchester, Vigilant and Reserve Hose companies assisted.
