The operators of Passage House, a shelter that serves victims of domestic violence, have won a $20,000 unrestricted grant from the Mary Kay Foundation.

The grant will fund operating support, a computer station for residents, outdoor seating, toys in a secure setting and an improved storage area for shelter donations.

Family & Children’s Service of Niagara opened Passage House in 1989 as the first fully staffed domestic violence shelter in Niagara County.
