The fifth annual Buffalo Comics Fest will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday ► 5th ◄ in the Frank E. Merriweather Jr. Library, 1324 Jefferson Ave.

Local artists will discuss how comics are created. The documentary “White Scripts and Black Supermen” will be shown at 12:30 p.m., and University at Buffalo associate professor John Jennings will discuss “African American Agency in the Comics Medium” at 1:45.
