NIAGARA FALLS – The property manager for the former Wendt’s Dairy in the 8400 block of Buffalo Avenue reported that someone forced their way into the building sometime between Sept. 7 and Sunday, and cut approximately 3,000 feet of copper wiring, valued at $100,000, as well as 50 to 60 electrical bus bars, from an electrical panel.

The victim said the thieves would have had to use a ladder to disassemble and remove several access panels.

A steel door was also damaged in an attempt to enter the building.

Total loss and damage amounted to $102,700.
