JAMESTOWN – Warner Dam in Jamestown is one of eight dams across New York State that will receive funding under the NY Works initiative for improvement projects, Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo announced Thursday.

Warner Dam, which is near Brooklyn Square and controls the flow of water from Chautauqua Lake into the Chadakoin River, will receive $67,672 to cover design work for repainting gates and gate controls, repairing concrete and fixing eroded areas with riprap.
