Obama should return his Nobel Peace Prize
Syria is a stressful situation. It has put pressure on many people throughout the world. Here at home, that pressure has turned President Obama, a Nobel Peace Prize awardee, into a military hawk. Had it not been for the bungling Secretary of State John Kerry and the enterprising Russian President Vladimir Putin, Obama was prepared to seek military strike authorization.
According to Nobel, the Peace Prize goes to the person who “shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses.” I think this December the Norwegian Nobel Committee may want it back.
