More than 350 bags of heroin, as well as crack cocaine, were seized from the Buffalo apartment of a man suspected of trafficking drugs in the city and suburbs â€“ including Clarence, according to the Erie County Sheriffâ€™ Office.
The Wednesday afternoon search of an upper apartment at 1035 West Ave. was carried out by members of sheriffâ€™s and Buffalo Police Departmentâ€™s Narcotics Units. The street value of the drugs was estimated at approximately $4,000, deputies reported.
Approximately $3,600 in cash also was seized, deputies said.
Efrain Gonzalez, 32, was charged with two felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was sent to the county Holding Center, pending arraignment in Buffalo City Court.
