NIAGARA FALLS – About 100 pounds of copper wiring has been stolen from a vacant building in the 3400 block of Highland Avenue, according to Niagara Falls police.

The complainant said he checked the site a few weeks ago and told police that the building is an old production site and had been vacant for several years.

A fuse box was broken when someone cut the copper wire, which is large industrial-grade wiring.

Damage was listed at $200 to the fuse box and the wiring was worth $750.
