Elizabeth Shook, a longtime Red Cross volunteer in Cuba, will go to Colorado today to manage staff services at the Red Cross disaster relief center at the Boulder airport.

More than 100 people are being housed in relief centers by the Red Cross and other relief agencies dealing with that state’s devastating flash flooding.

Red Cross officials said Shook will work closely with local emergency management officials, the Colorado National Guard and community organizations aiding flooding victims.
