LOCKPORT – The Town of Lockport Industrial Development Agency has canceled a tax break on the larger of two buildings once owned by Custom Laser in the town’s industrial park.
David R. Kinyon, the town’s economic development director, said the move clears the way for the 16,000-square-foot building to be sold.
At present, the building is being leased by Temasys, a new heat exchanger fabrication company, Kinyon said.
In August, the IDA canceled the tax break on Custom Laser’s 6,000-square-foot building, which is being sold to Titan Wrecking and Demolition. Custom Laser has moved to the former Franbilt plant on Akron Road in Lockport.
