A spaghetti fundraiser sponsored by the Depew Alumni Wildcat Booster Club will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Sept. 22 in the Depew High School cafeteria. Proceeds will be used for future student scholarships.
The dinner includes salad, bread and butter, a dish of spaghetti with two meatballs, a choice of dessert and coffe or tea. Assorted beverages will be available for purchase. Children will receive one meatball.
A Chinese auction also will be held at the event, along with tickets for it.
Presale tickets are $7.50 for adults and $4.25 for children under 10 years of age. Children under 5 years old are free. Tickets will be sold at the door on the day of the event for $8 for adults, and $4.75 for children under 10.

• A citizens’ forum for 2014 community development programs will be held at 7 p.m. Monday in the Depew Village Hall council chambers at 85 Manitou St.
The public forums, also held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Lackawanna Public Library community room and also at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Springville Village Municipal Building court room, are designed to heighten the public’s awareness and participation in the Erie County Consortium’s Community Development 2014 program to offer suggestions and information on the needs of low and moderate-income individuals, the elderly and handicapped people.
