Two men charged with beating, robbing Orchard Park teen

Two men have been arrested and charged with felonies in the beating and robbery of a 15-year-old Orchard Park male in a wooded area near Green Lake about 8 p.m. Thursday, police reported Saturday.

Charles Pellis, 21, formerly of Orchard Park, and Donald Reardon, 22, of Oswego, were charged with the felony crimes of second degree robbery, second degree assault, grand larceny and conspiracy. They also were charged with unlawful imprisonment and endangering the welfare of a minor.

Reardon was additionally charged with criminal impersonation for giving detectives a false name. Several felony warrants have also been filed for him in Oswego.

Both men were arraigned and sent to the Erie County Holding Center. The victim’s injuries were not life threatening. The incident is believed to be drug related and the investigation by detectives John Payne and Larry Brand is ongoing with additional charges pending.
