LOCKPORT – A former Niagara Falls man who moved to Las Vegas in January pleaded guilty in Niagara County Court Thursday to selling cocaine to a police informant in the Falls last year.

Jason R. Palmer, 27, formerly of Niagara Street, admitted to fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and was scheduled for sentencing Dec. 12 by County Judge Matthew J. Murphy III.

Palmer sold cocaine at 15th Street and Pine Avenue on Nov. 21, Assistant District Attorney Peter M. Wydysh said. Defense attorney Rodney A. Giove said Palmer returned to Vegas after making $20,000 bail following his arraignment, and had to be extradited. Murphy ordered Palmer held without bail to await sentencing.
