Important differences in recent murder cases

This is in response to a recent letter about racism. There wasn’t anything heard from President Obama, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson about the deaths in Oklahoma and Washington because, as you remember, the suspects in those cases were arrested. In the Trayvon Martin case, George Zimmerman was not – until the outcry of many people, including our president. He was then arrested and brought to justice. Also, if in the early evening Zimmerman would have seen a young white man in a hoodie, would he have ended up shooting and killing him? I think not. This was a race issue.
