Hamburg-based Evans Bancorp has named Nora B. Sullivan to its board of directors. Sullivan is the founder and president of Sullivan Capital Partners in Buffalo. She previously worked as a director in the Citigroup Private Bank and as executive vice president with Rand Capital Corp. Sullivan fills a vacancy created by the retirement of Nancy W. Ware earlier this year.


Suneel’s Light, a local nonprofit foundation that raises funds for research that will lead to a cure of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, named Kenneth A. Manning, a partner at Phillips Lytle, chairman of the 2013 A Night to Shine gala, the foundation’s annual fundraiser. This marks the second year he has served as chairman of the charity event. A Night to Shine is scheduled for Oct. 17 at the Hotel @ The Lafayette.
