Grace Potter knows how to command an arena-sized stage. She’s proven as much several times in the Buffalo area, most recently when Grace Potter and the Nocturnals opened for the Tragically Hip in the Outer Harbor Concert Series, during a show that would end up being cut short by the rain. The band is also a veteran of the Thursday at the Square series – in fact, the Western New York market was one of the first to fall for Potter in a big way, and we’ve watched her and her pals grow up in public on our stages over the years.

As great as the band can be in a big venue or on an outdoor stage, the true fire, grit and sultry soul that Potter trades in is best experienced with a certain degree of intimacy.
