TOWN OF LOCKPORT – A Dysinger Road man said he was lured out of his apartment in the 6600 block to meet with a woman he knew and then was struck by an unknown man who demanded his money just before 11:30 p.m. Wednesday in the basement hallway.

The 20-year-old man told Niagara County sheriff’s deputies that a woman wanted to meet with him to borrow money and after he opened the door a man came out of the laundry room and punched him in the face. He said the man demanded money and he gave him $40. The man asked for more, but the victim said that was all he had and the woman and man left.

The victim went to Eastern Niagara Hospital in Lockport for treatment of his injury.
