Town of Tonawanda police today declined to release the identity of a 15-year-old boy who was struck by an SUV on Monday while riding a bicycle on Niagara Falls Boulevard.

The boy was last reported in critical but stable condition Tuesday at Women and Children’s Hospital, where he was taken after the accident. The boy was riding his bicycle near the intersection of Niagara Falls Boulevard and Greenhaven Terrace in the town when he was struck.

Police offered no reason for withholding the youth’s identity nor any word on his condition today.
