DUNKIRK – A Dunkirk man led police on a chase early Saturday from Fredonia and ending at his King Street home, police said.

David B. Anzalone, 29, was charged with fleeing a police officer, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, reckless driving and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies said they observed Anzalone accelerate his Dodge Durango at 1:40 a.m. on Route 20, then take off at a high rate of speed, running red lights. Anzalone refused to pull over and turned off his headlights, deputies added.
