LOCKPORT – Rashie K. Perry, the mother of children ages 1 and 6, pleaded not guilty in Niagara County Court Thursday to an indictment accusing her of making crack cocaine sales to a police informant in Niagara Falls this spring.

Perry, 27, of South Avenue, was ordered jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail by County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas on the indictment charging two counts each of third-degree criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance.

The drug deals, which Assistant District Attorney Peter M. Wydysh said were caught on tape, allegedly occurred April 3 and May 13. Perry has a prior drug possession felony conviction from 2007.
