2nd arrest made in Niagara Falls home invasion

NIAGARA FALLS – A second arrest was made Tuesday in connection with a home invasion on Linwood Avenue in January.

Lester M. Streeter, 18, of 22nd Street, was arraigned in City Court on felony charges of first-degree burglary, first-degree robbery and second-degree robbery. Released Wednesday after posting $3,000 bond, he will return to court Friday.

Three masked men entered a residence in the 1500 block of Linwood Avenue on Jan. 12, two of them armed with long guns, according to Assistant District Attorney Joseph A. Scalzo. A man inside disarmed one of them, and they all fled.

Co-defendant K’shawn L. Sistrunk, 17, of McKoon Avenue, formerly of Linwood Avenue, was indicted April 2 on burglary, robbery, menacing and weapons charges. He was jailed after bail was raised from $5,000 to $100,000. The third suspect has not been identified.
