LOCKPORT – A Burt woman, who pleaded guilty two years ago to selling cocaine in Lockport in 2009 saw her charges dismissed Tuesday by Niagara County Judge Matthew J. Murphy III.

The judge did so because Karen Swogier, 48, succeeded in the judicial diversion program of court-supervised drug treatment. Swogier said she focused on her family during the diversion process and would like to start a counseling program in Newfane.
