LOCKPORT – A Niagara Falls man was sentenced Friday to state prison in connection with the possession of two baggies of cocaine in a parked car in the Falls July 24, 2012.

Claude J. Wilson, 36, of LaSalle Avenue was recommended for the prison system’s secure drug treatment facility by Niagara County Judge Matthew J. Murphy III. If he fails there, he faces 2½ years in a regular cell.

Assistant Public Defender A. Joseph Catalano said State Supreme Court Justice Penny Wolfgang will sentence Wilson in Buffalo Monday for another Class D drug felony, and she will have the choice of making her sentence run consecutively or concurrently with the one Murphy imposed.
