JAMESTOWN – An employee of Papa John’s Pizza in Jamestown was arrested Friday in connection with a robbery that occurred at the restaurant on July 31, Jamestown police said.

Ney E. Garrido, 24, of Celoron, was charged with grand larceny and falsely reporting an incident, said authorities, who added that another arrest is expected in the case.

The West 3rd Street restaurant was robbed about 10:19 p.m. by a gunman who made off with cash from the register and safe, officials said.
