LOCKPORT – Guns and ammunition worth $4,000 were stolen from a Boy Scout storage building, Niagara Couynty sheriff’s deputies said.

Officials of the organization’s Iroquois Trail Council said rifles, shotguns and ammunition were stolen earlier this month from the group’s Lockport storage facility. The weapons are used to teach firearms safety and marksmanship at summer camp, officials said. The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
