A Rochester-area man attending the John Mayer concert at Darien Lake injured two security guards as they ejected him from the performance Tuesday night, authorities said.

Robert M. Murphy, 34, of Webster, was charged with two counts of third-degree assault after he allegedly broke one guard’s finger and lacerated the head of the other guard, according to Genesee County Sheriff Gary Maha.

Twelve other people at the concert were charged with possession of marijuana and 46 more were ticketed for underage consumption of alcohol, Maha added.
