Thousands of dollars worth of guns, ammunition and a compound bow stolen from Boy Scouts of America

LOCKPORT – Thieves forced open a door at the Iroquois Trail Council Boy Scouts of America at 7121 Rochester Road and broke into a storage room, stealing eight guns, a compound bow and ammunition, Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies said.

Loss and damage was listed at over $4,000. The theft took place sometime in the past week and a half.

Stolen was 12 gauge and .22 caliber ammunition; a Browning 20 gauge shotgun; a Marlin .22 caliber rifle; a Mossberg 12 gauge shotgun; two Remington shotguns, a 12 gauge and a 20 gauge; a Savage ..22 caliber rifle; and two Thompson muzzle loaders, a .12 gauge and a .50 caliber. Also stolen was a Matthews Genesis compound bow.
