The Buffalo Rotary Foundation named Sandra Yeater president for 2013-14 term. Other officers: Immediate past president, Antone Alber; vice president, Ronald Caruso; treasurer, Charles Martorana; assistant treasurer, Michael Grimaldi; secretary, Charles Telford; assistant secretary, Carolyn Murray; Rotary Club of Buffalo president, James Tyrpak; and Rotary Club of Buffalo president-elect, Robert Galdys. Trustees: George Adema, Robert Eck and Therese Vita. Official observers: Anthony Diina, chairman of the Service Fund Drive; and Jeffery Goldfarb, co-chairman of the Community Grants Committee.


GTECH S.p.A. of Providence, R.I., promoted Christopher Caldwell to senior vice president of Latin America and the Caribbean. Caldwell is a former resident of Bowmansville and 1986 graduate of St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute.


Oracle Charter High School, 888 Delaware Ave., Buffalo, appointed Robert Spampata to a two-year term on the school’s board of trustees. Spampata is managing director of corporate affairs for Tonawanda-based Noco Inc.

FB Displays and Designs recently completed a project for the Amherst Center for Senior Services utilizing outdoor pennants, a new addition to the company’s design and event marketing services.


Three law firms whose largest offices are in Buffalo, Hodgson Russ, Phillips Lytle and Goldberg Segalla, appeared on the National Law Journal’s “NJL 350,” which ranks law firms across the U.S. based on the number of attorneys employed. Hodgson Russ was No. 204, Phillips Lytle was No. 210 and Goldberg Segalla was No. 249. Each of the three firms moved up from the previous year’s ranking.
