The Seneca Nation of Indians is starting a daily interterritory bus service from Irving to Steamburg. Beginning Monday, buses will run from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The bus route connects Seneca Gaming and Entertainment Bingo in Irving and the Turtle Pit in Steamburg, with 13 scheduled stops along the route, including Seneca Nation government buildings, community buildings, Shop & Save in Gowanda, the Cattaraugus County Building in Little Valley and Grand Center Station in Salamanca.
Riders will be picked up anywhere along the route, and special diversion pickups can be arranged for people unable to get to a stop. Fares are $1 for each of the two zones; diversions are double fare. Children ride free.
