Jet skiers collide in Niagara River near Peace Bridge

Two male jet skiers were rescued by the U.S. Coast Guard and the Erie County Sheriff’s Marine Unit after they collided about 8:24 p.m. Friday in the Niagara River under the Peace Bridge.

Officials reported neither victim had to be treated for injuries after being brought to the shore. The sheriff’s unit continues to investigate the incident.
