Letter: Trayvon Martin could have done things differently, too

Trayvon Martin could have done things differently, too

In answer to the July 17 letter about “Zimmerman’s poor choice,” Zimmerman had a reason to be where he was and a reason to ask Trayvon why he was there. All Trayvon had to do was say “My name is Trayvon Martin, I’m here because…” It seems simple enough. It’s what I would have done. I would have understood why he asked, I may not have like his tone, or being questioned, but there is a reason that there is a neighborhood watch. Did we ever find out why he was there? Did we ever find out why Trayvon acted the way he did? Everybody has choices.
