MAYVILLE – The Chautauqua County Legislature will be considering a local law to prohibit tobacco use of any type on any county-owned premises.

The Legislature will consider the local law when it meets at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Gerace Office Building in Mayville A public hearing on the tobacco law will be held at 6:45 p.m.

In addition, the Legislature also is scheduled to review the lease agreement with the Chautauqua County Airport at Jamestown. Silver Airlines is the current operator at the airport.
