Two suspects were in custody following a robbery and a police chase that resulted in a taxi cab crashing into a house at Jefferson Avenue and South Division Street Monday afternoon, police said.

The suspects robbed a pharmacy on the 2000 block of Clinton Street near the West Seneca border, authorities said, and they fled in a taxi cab. It was not immediately clear how they obtained the taxi cab.

Buffalo and West Seneca police pursued the suspects until they crashed into the house, where people were home but nobody was injured, officials said.

A West Seneca police car was damaged during the incident, according to police.
