Womanfocus will have a Walk and Talk Session at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in Chestnut Ridge Park in Orchard Park. Participants will enjoy a walk in the park with other women while discussing "Self Esteem." No fee. A health fair to showcase its services and other health services in the community will be held from noon to 8 p.m. Friday at Pulse Health & Fitness, 2875 Union Road, Cheektowaga. The event will feature food, drink, door prizes, silent auction, chair massages and displays. For kids, there will be face painting, a meet-and-greet with Avengers star Captain America, and a visit from Bellevue Fire Department. J-Fitness and Weight Watchers will also be present. Gilda's Club of WNY will offer "Navigating Your Cancer Experience" at 11 a.m. Saturday in the club, 1140 Delaware Ave. at West Ferry Street. Designed to help those who have recently received a diagnosis of cancer, participants will meet and talk with an American Cancer Society patient navigator, learn about resources available to you such as transportation, financial assistance, wigs and more.
