The Buffalo Niagara Partnership's board of directors elected the following new board members:

Peter Benzino, vice president/general manager, Cola-Cola Bottling Co. of Buffalo; Anna Marie Cellino, president, National Fuel Gas Distribution; James Fashano, executive vice president, Alliance Advisory Group; Jody Lomeo, chief executive officer, Erie County Medical Corp.; Marta Moszczenska, consul general, Consulate General of Canada; Kevin Neumaier, president and CEO, Ecology & Environment; Kevin Quinn, senior vice president, regional commercial executive, HSBC Bank USA; Gregory Rustowicz, vice president finance/CFO, Columbus McKinnon Corp.; Shandra Spicer, president and CEO, S&W Contracting of WNY; Rocco Surace, managing partner, Gaines Kriner Elliott; and Edward Watts Jr., president, Watts Architecture & Engineering.

Prometheus Books promoted Lynn Pasquale to director of digital publishing, Lisa Michalski to senior publicist and Jennifer Tordy to digital publishing coordinator, and appointed Melissa Shofner editorial assistant.

Pasquale previously served as e-initiative coordinator. Michalski, who had been publicist and marketing assistant, studied communication at Daemen College and Buffalo State College. She joined the company as a publicity intern in 2008. Tordy, a graduate of Oswego State College, was formerly an editorial assistant. Shofner, a Purchase State College graduate, is working toward her master's degree through Pace University.

The Basil Family of Dealers will celebrate the grand opening of its newest location, Basil Resale Delaware, throughout June. Basil Resale Delaware is the second Basil dealership to open in Buffalo. The facility, at 2677 Delaware Ave. on the site of the former Tunmore Automotive, has a remodeled showroom and multiple full-service bays, and offers service six days a week.

Cenergy, an East Aurora brand-activation firm specializing in sports, entertainment and consumer packaged goods, was named the advertising agency of record for Outside Television, Westport, Conn. Outside Television, based on Outside magazine, is a national programming network dedicated to the active outside lifestyle.
