Mark C. Pacer, the owner of a golf shop who was active in the sport, died Thursday in his Williamsville home following a battle with cancer. He was 50.
A Buffalo native, Mr. Pacer graduated from Williamsville South High School and earned a degree in business from Niagara University.
Since 1991, he was the owner and president of Pro Golf Discount of WNY, Town of Tonawanda.
An avid golfer, Mr. Pacer was an active member of Lancaster Country Club and was the winner of two club tournaments. He also served as a board member of the club.
Survivors include his wife of 24 years, the former Linda Lienert; his parents, Frank J. and Terry; two daughters, Sydney and Carly; two brothers, Paul and Todd; and a sister, Lesley Brady.
Prayers will be said at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday in Pacer Funeral Home, 2275 George Urban Blvd., Depew. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. in SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 5480 Main St., Williamsville.
