WALSH, Frances Jean

WALSH - Frances Jean Born September 13, 1924, in Elkland, PA. Fran was the youngest of ten children. She passed away peacefully on June 11, 2012, while surrounded by her family who loved her dearly, at her home in East Aurora, dearest wife of the late Anthony Walsh; cherished mother of Tim (Nancy) Walsh, Pam (Michael Sr.) Lina, Mark Walsh, Douglas Walsh, Gail (Kenny) Durkin and the late David (Debbie) Walsh; treasured grandma of Maria (Brent) Parsley, Brian (Hayra) Walsh, Michael Lina, Alyson (Matthew) Vitticore, Nicole Walsh, Vanessa Walsh, Nicholas Conwell, Anthony "Tony" Walsh and Eric Walsh; loving great-grandma of Aurora, Ewan and Reese Parsley. Fran was a WW II "Rosie the Riveter" and was a very honest, strong, knowledgeable and generous woman, who loved God, her family, and her friends. She enjoyed Allegany State Park, baking, cribbage, and challenging herself and others with various types of puzzles. A Celebration of her life will be held at Crossroads Christian Church, 1050 Girdle Road, East Aurora 14052 on Saturday, June 30, 2012, at 11:00 AM. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the members of Team Five from Hospice Buffalo, who treated Frances and the family through this difficult time with compassion, kindness and dedication.
