Partnership to host network event

The Buffalo Niagara Partnership will host a "summer symposium" Friday to bring together women professionals from Western New York's business community.

"Athena Encore" is a networking and professional development event featuring several influential members of the local community.

Executives such as Sharon Lochocki, a senior vice president at Key Bank, Pamela Heilman, a partner at Hodgson Russ LLP, and Maureen Hurley, chief administrative officer at Rich Products, will serve as table hosts during a "progressive lunch."

Jennie Ho, director of domestic revenue management at Delta Airlines, will give a keynote address about balancing career and family.

"It gives attendees access to women who have made success and mentoring a habit," said Lindsay Dotson, the event's organizer.

Social activities, such as a wine tasting and professional summer dress demo will cap off the day.

The event will take place Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Buffalo Niagara Marriott, 1340 Millersport Highway in Amherst. Tickets are $60. For more information or to register, visit www.ThePartnership.org.
