The WNY Women's Foundation, a nonprofit organization located at 742 Delaware Ave., sums up its mission in a few potent words:
"We believe that when women and girls are secure," the mission statement of the group states, "entire communities are stronger."

"What She's Made Of," the lecture ?event featuring Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist Ellen Goodman, to be held Wednesday from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at ?Kleinhans Music Hall, is an annual keynote public event of the local outfit.
