Wheatfield Garden Clubwill hold its annual sale of plants and garden items from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Adams Fire Hall, 7113 Nash Road, Wheatfield, north of Niagara Falls Boulevard, in conjunction with the annual Craft & Treasure sale.

Youngstown Garden Club will present its plant and perennial sale, "Kitchens in Bloom," from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Bistro at the Old Fort Inn, 110 Main St., Youngstown. Featured will be a sale of perennials from members' gardens, culinary herbs and other items; an exhibit of floral arrangements presented in Federated Garden Show style; and craft demonstrations by club members. The event takes place during the Lewiston Region Tour of Kitchens (tourofkitchens.net).

The club will also meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church, 100 Church St., Youngstown. Carolyn Stanko, coordinator of the Niagara County Community College horticulture program, will discuss plant selections and landscape design.

Cheektowaga Garden Club has completed planting at the War of 1812 Cemetery, and will participate in the parade on Aero Drive on Sunday to commemorate the bicentennial of the War of 1812. Members are asked to meet at 11 a.m. in the parking lot at Wehrle and Aero drives. The club also will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the Cleveland Hill High School faculty lunchroom, on Mapleview Road, Cheektowaga. Members will make favors for patient trays in local nursing homes. New members are welcome.

Kenmore Garden Clubwill meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Kenmore United Methodist Church, 32 Landers Road, Kenmore, for a program on creating container gardens and window boxes presented by Menne Nursery and Garden Artistry of Amherst.

Evans Garden Clubwill visit Turnbull Nursery & Garden Center in North Collins at 6 p.m. Tuesday. Ken Lawton will cover various garden techniques and lead a nursery walk.

Eden Garden Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Peggy Habermehl's home to work on the float for the Eden Corn Festival.

East Park Garden Club will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Island Presbyterian Church, 1822 Huth Road, Grand Island, for a program on container plants and insect control. For information, call 984-2645.

Ken-Sheriton Garden Clubwill meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 576 Delaware Road, Kenmore. Joann Bassett, American Iris Society judge, will present a program on iris varieties and their care. Business meeting to follow. New members and guests welcome.

Amana Garden Club will hold a brief business meeting and coffee social at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Burchfield Nature & Art Center, 2001 Union Road, West Seneca. Kim Barabas will present "History and Art of Seed Packets." All welcome.

Alden Garden Clubwill meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the rear of the Alden Town Park on Main Street for a tour of the Joe Panza Trail, led by Dave Kieber of Beaver Meadow Audubon Center. Federated Lancaster Garden Club and Bowmansville Garden Club will hold a joint meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday in St. John's Lutheran Hall, 55 Pleasant Ave., Lancaster. Sally Cunningham will present "Lessons from Garden Walk Gardens."

Western New York Herb Study Group will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens, 2655 South Park Ave. Marian Prezyna, of Catstail Farm, will present "From Earth to the Herbalist."

Western New York Rose Society will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in St. Stephen's-Bethlehem United Church of Christ, 750 Wehrle Drive, Amherst, in the lower hall. All are welcome.

Town & Country Garden Clubwill meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Mischler's Florist and Greenhouses, 118 S. Forest Road, Williamsville. Greenhouse manager Mark Yadon will lead a tour of the greenhouses. Members will purchase flowers and create a hanging basket or pot to take home. A business meeting will follow.

Southtowns Rose & Garden Society will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at 3876 Lynn Drive, Orchard Park. A plant exchange and PowerPoint presentation on the National Garden Show Convention held in Buffalo and the Rose Festival in Portland will take place.
