After a successful law career in Lima, OH, concentrating mainly on criminal defense and trial practice, Brian successfully passed the Nevada Bar exam and continued to practice criminal defense law in Las Vegas, NV. In addition to the practice of law, Brian was a friend of Bill W., acting as an active Mentor and Counselor and assisting friends and associates dealing with stresses, pressures and addictions so common in today's hurried society. Brian was an active motorcyclist, having ridden through every state in the continental U.S, Canada from east to west and most of Mexico. All knew Brian as practical. Brian instructed that he did not wish for flowers to be sent. Instead, those who wish to give in Brian's honor may do so to the Brian Fisher Memorial Fund at Meadows Bank. Brian's personal representative J. Mitchell Cobeaga will disperse the funds to local charities in need. A memorial service will be held at the Palm Mortuary-Downtown, 1325 North Main Street, Las Vegas, on Saturday June 9, from 1-3 pm. A ceremonial motorcycle ride with Brian's ashes as his last ride will be conducted to his beloved Red Rock Canyon on Sunday June 10, leaving the Starbucks at 8164 Las Vegas Blvd S. at 8:00 AM. Anyone wishing one last ride with Brian are invited to ride along.
