TOWN HALL MEETING: The Erie County Sheriff's Office will hold a town hall meeting from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday in Clarence Town Hall. The meeting will include a welcome from Sheriff Tim Howard, information about the department and its staff, the Sheriff's Office budget, a jail management update, crime statistics and trends in Clarence, and community concerns or issues.

The Sheriff's Office is conducting a series of town hall meetings around the county over the next year.

FREE WORKSHOP: A free workshop on using New York's historic homeowner tax credit to help pay for rehabilitation work will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site Carriage House, 641 Delaware Ave. Preregistration is required. SATELLITE HOURS: The office of Rep. Kathy Hochul, D-Amherst, will host satellite hours in Erie and Niagara counties Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Lancaster Municipal Building, Library/Conference Room, 5423 Broadway, and from 2 to 4:30 p.m. in Lockport Municipal Building, Snyder Room, 6560 Dysinger Road, Lockport. SENIOR DRIVER EXPO: AAA Western and Central New York will host a free Senior Driver Expo from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday,at AAA Amherst Travel and Insurance Center, 100 International Drive. The expo will provide expert information to help area seniors and their families deal with challenges faced by older drivers. Morning refreshments will be provided and a cash lunch will be available. CHILD ABUSE WORKSHOP: A state-mandated training session for professionals on identifying and reporting child abuse, maltreatment and neglect will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday in LoGuidice Educational Center, D Building, 9520 Fredonia-Stockton Road, Fredonia. Participants should bring their license or certificate number. A state Education Department certificate of completion will be provided for each participant. The cost is $30. CLARENCE SOIREE: The Clarence Concert Association's third annual Music & Wine event will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday in Town Park Clubhouse, 10405 Main St. The event will offer tasting as well as the opportunity to purchase items including fine wines and gourmet cheeses.
